We'll get our boots dirty mushroom hunting and spend our evenings having leisurely conversations about the transition from craft to art. This is a week of pure hedonism with a dash of intellectual flair. We'll discuss everything from the fate of empires to the perfect risotto.
Piedmont is the land of Italy's finest achievements. We're heading to the Langhe, the region's foothills, not just to "taste," but to decipher the region's DNA. Everything here is at its finest: from the "white gold" of truffles
in the forests of Alba to the aristocratic Barbaresco and Barolo in the glass.

Day 1
October 25
A dinner and introduction followed by a talk by Leonid Parfenov, "Be Your Own Curator." We set the rhythm for the entire trip: learning to work with contexts and read history where others see mere landscapes. This is the moment of fine-tuning our "optics" before our full immersion in Piedmont.
A stroll through the Villa Sparina vineyards and an introduction to the architecture of taste. We'll explore the renowned 18th-century cellars and discover how the bottle's shape became a manifesto of local style.
We'll be met at Milan airport and transferred to your villa. We'll begin where the Piedmontese hills meet the Ligurian wind.
The beginning of something great
Day 2
October 26
Lunch in the rhythm of Slow Food.
Trying Piedmont "unfiltered."
A gala dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant. We move on to the "higher mathematics" of taste. This is an evening of deconstructing meanings: learning to read the chef's signature style as well as historical contexts.
We start the morning with a clean slate at the La Raia art farm. Here, ecology meets contemporary art. We'll see why "natural" is the ultimate luxury today.
The art of being first
Day 3
October 27
After lunch, we'll go truffle hunting.
We swap loafers for boots and head into the forest, following a sniffer dog. Excitement, fog, mud, and the scent of "white gold." Piedmont as it is, unfiltered.
An intimate evening in a private hall in Asti: a joint presentation by Leonid Parfenov and Vasily Raskov, "Nebbiolo vs. Barbera." This is more than just a tasting, but a profound exploration of Piedmont's character through its premier wines. We'll discover the secrets behind the labels of great estates and how the meanings and tastes of these lands have evolved over the centuries.
We begin the morning with a visit to the Gaia family castle. It's a touch of legend: we'll taste the wines that shaped Italy's modern image. Afterward, we'll enjoy a simple, no-frills lunch. Simple food to ground us and highlight the grandeur of the morning's vintages.
The hunt for the "golden" code
Day 4
October 28
After lunch, we bid farewell to the misty hills and move on to the capital of world fashion. We'll check into a former 16th-century seminary, now the city's most fashionable hotel, according to the Ferragamo family.
Our first evening in the city. We're getting into the rhythm of the metropolis with a glass of classic Negroni in the epicenter of Fashion Square.
We begin the morning at the residence of Count Cavour, the architect of Italian unification. We'll enter halls closed to ordinary tourists, where the Knights of the Order of Truffles and Wine gather. We'll dine in authentic 19th-century interiors. We'll discuss with Leonid Parfenov how high politics and gastronomy shaped the Italian nation.
Aristocratic code and Milanese chic
Day 5
October 29
At lunchtime, you have free time: Fashion Square. Time to spend money on things that will delight you until next season.
We begin the morning by exploring the city's underbelly. We explore private courtyards and hidden palazzos that you won't find in guidebooks. This is a walk through Milan's sleek facades that reveals true Milanese luxury.
Milan's Secret Code
Day 6
October 30
Back to reality, which, alas, will be a little less delicious than this week. Arrivederci!
We begin the day leisurely in Milan's most beautiful courtyard. Breakfast at Portrait. Time for final reflections, jotting down thoughts, and a farewell espresso amid impeccable Italian service. Transfer to the airport.
